چکیده
We examine the Mielnikov criterion for transition to chaos in case of one degree of freedom nonlinear oscillator with non symmetric potential. This system subjected to an external periodic force shows homoclinic transition from regular vibrations to chaos just before escape from the potential well. Especially we study the effect of a second resonant excitation with different phase on the system transition to chaos and propose a way of its control.

Using the Adaptive Frequency Nonlinear Oscillator for Earning an Energy Efficient Motion Pattern in a Leg- Like Stretchable Pendulum by Exploiting the Resonant Mode
In this paper we investigate a biological framework to generate and adapt a motion pattern so that can be energy efficient. In fact, the motion pattern in legged animals and human emerges among interaction between a central pattern generator neural network called CPG and the musculoskeletal system. Here, we model this neuro - musculoskeletal system by means of a leg - like mechanical system cal...
متن کاملFrequency–driven chaos in the electrical circuit of Duffing-Holmes oscillator and its control
Accurate detection of weak periodic signals within noise and possibility of secure messaging have made Duffing oscillator (DO) highly important in the field of communication. Investigation on the properties of DO is thus ardently sought for. An elegant approach to accomplish the same is to fabricate electronic circuit simulating DO non-linear equation and to study the effect of input signal amp...
متن کاملPulsive Feedback Control for Stabilizing Unstable Periodic Orbits in a Nonlinear Oscillator with a Non-symmetric Potential
We examine a strange chaotic attractor and its unstable periodic orbits in case of one degree of freedom nonlinear oscillator with non symmetric potential. We propose an efficient method of chaos control stabilizing these orbits by a pulsive feedback technique. Discrete set of pulses enable us to transfer the system from one periodic state to another.

By introducing Colpitts oscillator as a chaotic system, this paper deals with back-stepping control method and investigates the restrictions and problems of the controller where non-existence of a suitable response in the presence of uncertainty is the most important problem to note. In this paper, the back-stepping sliding mode method is introduced as a robust method for controlling nonlinear ...
